The iLab PI training course is designed to acquaint you with the tasks associated with Lab Management. This course applies to the Principal Investigator and the Lab Manager user types. If you have a need for a Financial Contact for the core, they must also be designated as a Lab Manager.
As a PI, you are responsible for accepting or adding your group members into your lab, adding and assigning funding sources to the appropriate members of your lab. These responsibilities may be delegated to a lab manager once the PI account and lab is created in iLab. The lab manager must first create their iLab account prior to being assigned the role of lab manager.
