The Reporting capability in iLab provides a robust capability to allow users with an administrative role in iLab to view and visualize their data in exciting ways.
Reporting allows users to generate reports on much data underlying the iLab workflow, but in all cases, access to the data is restricted to the data you have permissions to view. For example, a core manager can report on all data for their core, while a PI can report on all data relevant to their lab.
There are 3 overall categories for iLab reports: Charges, Requests, and Events. As a Principal Investigator, Lab Manager, or Administrator, you are able to see reporting on any lab(s) you manage under each of these categories.
Within each of these categories, you have the ability to create and save custom reports based on the time ranges and specified filters. You can further customize these reports by defining how you would like to visually display the data. You are able to display the data in a variety of ways, including stacked bar charts, pie charts, line graphs, stacked line graphs, and data tables.
The video below, provided by iLab, provides a brief tutorial on the reporting capability within iLab.
A comprehensive description of the features of the reporting function appears in the iLab user manual.
